The Santa Cruz County Conference and Visitors Council (CVC) is proud to announce the debut of a new web design for www.santacruz.org. Featuring high-impact photography and a more dynamic look, the new design is based on the results of a recent usability survey about our site.

Over the past couple of years, the CVC began to improve the ranking of www.santacruz.org in search engine listings using search engine optimization (SEO) as a way to maximize its presence on the internet to benefit CVC partners. This has resulted in a dramatic increase in visitors to our site, with more than one million visitor sessions expected this year. Increased involvement by local businesses and organizations has also been key, as their listings and photographs make the site a more complete and comprehensive tool for potential visitors. In fact, the CVC provides hundreds of hyperlinks to paid business partner web sites as well as complimentary links to community web sites. 

As a courtesy to visitors, partners are encouraged to provide a reciprocal link to the CVC to provide access to area information and a free traveler's guide or travel packet.
